New Season, New Scent Updates
I know, I know, we are still experiencing 90 degree heat waves and I’m discussing Fall season perfume changes. Well, it’s never too soon to begin preparing to smell good for the next season. Cool temps are right around the corner. Say GOODBYE to light, floral, airy, citrusy, sweet summer fragrances and say HELLO to earthy, cool, spicy, vanilla-like floral, crisp Fall fragrances.
Update your scent wardrobe and Fall in love with the following fragrances:
The scent conveys a deeper sense of femininity in the woody, sensual blend with top notes of Ginger and Rose, and a soft, enigmatic finish with base notes of Patchouli, Musks and Osmanthus. Can we get into this vintage bottle though!
Fresh Citron de Vigne
This sparkling citrus scent is like Champagne in a Bottle! With top notes of neroli, bitter orange, and pink grapefruit, there is no way you can walk into a room without being followed. Remember what I said about citrusy fragrances in the Winter? This would be the exception! And if you are really being followed, you may want to stay alert. Girl, call 911 if need be!!
Viktor & Rolf Flower Bomb Jasmine Twist
The Jasmine Twist boosts the jasmine note of the original Flowerbomb perfume. It invites you to indulge in a moment of happiness. Who couldn’t use happiness these days!
Marc Jacobs Decadence
Decadence seduces with sultry top notes of succulent Italian plum wrapped in golden saffron and velvety iris flower, then blooms into an extravagant bouquet of Bulgarian roses and creamy jasmine. This perfume screams glamour and luxury and the bottle itself screams SELFIE!!!
Jo Malone Grapefruit
Rosemary, peppermint and pimento add perfect piquancy to grapefruit’s bright and sunny nature. Uplifting and refreshing. I use this perfume year round. Its the freshest scent ever and it pairs beautifully with its sister scent below (Jo Malone perfumes are known for its fragrance combining. You can combine all of Jo Malone scents and create your own unique scent. Its a WIN WIN!!!!!).
Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt
Waves breaking white, the air fresh with sea salt and spray. Alive with the mineral scent of the rugged cliffs. Mingling with the woody earthiness of sage. Lively, spirited and totally joyful. This scent is very light but it pairs beautifully with Jo Malone’s Grapefruit perfume. I can literally take a bath in this perfume, but I won’t, because that would burn. LOL!
La Femme Prada Intense
La Femme Prada radiates ylang-ylang and spicy tones, mellowed by beeswax and vanilla. It is enhanced by bewitched tuberose absolute and a surprisingly feminine vetiver, bringing inimitable character to the scent. This bottle alone screams regality. It adds all the golden sophistication to my perfume display. This is definitely a Fall/Winter scent and it literally lasts all day. Intense is the best name for this decadent scent!
Maison Martin Margiela Replica “Lazy Sunday Morning”
With notes of Pear, Lily of the Valley, White Musk and Indonesian Patchouli Oil, this perfume gives you a recollection of silky skin, crumpled linen sheets and the reassuring scent of fresh laundry. This is definitely on my LOVE list! Although the bottle describes this scent as soft skin and bed linen, it reminds me of sunshine and open windows and hardwood floors! A Lazy Sunday Morning for sure!!!
Maison Martin Margiela Replica “Lipstick On”
“Lipstick On” is one of the sexiest fragrances for the Fall. Imagine a woman in a dressing room applying the finishing touches to her makeup: a delicate cloud of powder and a touch of lipstick. This perfume is to be applied after your sensual bath. You are sitting at your dressing table mirror with a silk robe and feeling oh so sexy! Get it GIRL!!!! Go ahead and give us a little twerk!! LOL!!!
Miu Miu l’eau Rosee
This soft floral fragrance created from lily of the valley and cassis buds is tightly wrapped in notes of sophisticated musk. This is a very pretty fragrance, more feminine than the original Miu Miu. If you love rose notes, then this is the fragrance for you!
Side Note: there are floral, citrusy fragrances that can be worn in the Fall/Winter, but they should be Fall/Winter floral and citrusy. You know, like how, you can wear white after Labor Day, but it should be a Winter white. Don’t worry, I’ll create another post for that.
