Not only Cleopatra’s favorite stone and my husbands favorite color; the emerald in all its green quartz beauty has grown on me year after year. It is my birthstone and has become my obsession!!
Emerald, the birthstone of May, carries the rich green color of Spring and radiates a beautiful vivid tone. They are considered to be a symbol of rebirth and love. Emeralds are the rarest gemstones and are typically mined in Colombia, Brazil, Afghanistan and Zambia.
Whatever anyone does or says, I must be emerald and keep my color
I recently found out that the emerald symbolizes a time for reflection. It encourages you to slow down a little and look back at all the things that you have done with your life. A time to accept hard truths and meaningful lessons so that you can move forward in life better, stronger, and wiser.
I knew there was a reason why the emerald has become my all time fave….. 😉
